Summer 2015!

Summer!

It’s almost summer! Only 13 more days left! I’m so excited because no more homework, and the pools are open! If you know me, my favorite pool is Southern Walk, the one with the slide and diving board. So anyway, some things that I will be doing in the summer are: hanging out with my friends, going to the pool, and going to camps.

One of the things I like to do in the summer is hanging out with my friends. When I have friends over or go to a friends house, we usually go to the pool, maybe to a lemonade stand, and sometimes have a sleepover too. If we have a sleepover, then we are most likely going to try and do an all nighter. But, that usually doesn’t happen:(

Another thing I like to do in the summer is go to the pool. I most of the time go with my friends. I think this is the best part about summer. You get a tan:), you can have contests with your friends, the ice cream man is there, and much more fun. Did you know that there are 10.4 million residential pool and 309,000 public pools in the United States? That’s a lot!

One last thing I like to do in the summer is go to camps. The camps I’m doing this year are: Wyldlife Camp, a church camp, and dance camp Wyldlife camp is where you stay in a cabin for 5 days, and every day you do really fun activities. You get to go to the beach, and go on zip lines. Here’s the link if you want it: Wyldlife Camp. The next camp I’m doing is a church camp. It’s basically the same type of the as Wyldlife. The last camp I’m doing is dance camp. Every year, at my dance studio, we have four sessions of dance camp. This year, I’m doing the last session. It’s only five days but, it’s from like 9 am-3:45 pm, so we get really tired. One of my friends that is doing it is Alex S. She has a blog too: Alex’s Blog. So, if you can’t tell, I have some fun plans and I’m really excited about Summer! What are your plans? Leave a comment.

Now, for one of the requirements for this post is a pop quiz. So here are 3 questions:

1. How many residential pools are in the U.S?

2. How many public pools are in the U.S?

3. How many camps am I doing this year?

I will let you guess and in a couple weeks I will announce the winners.

Oh, by the way, here’s a video I made about Summer!:

Limericks!

Hi guys! So in class yesterday we made limericks. I don’t like poetry at all so, I didn’t like this. First, we talked about how to make limericks. Then, we looked at some examples. Next, we made some of our own limericks. Last, we shared them to the class. So that’s all we did in class about limericks yesterday.

Fill In Friday!

Hi guys! If you don’t know, from now on every Friday I will be posting an “update.” So, since it is Friday I have to do a post. Lately, my knee has been really hurting so I have to sit out of dance for a couple days. 🙁 Also, it’s almost the end of the year! 🙂 Last, is that I have Edge try outs tomorrow! For those of you who don’t know what Edge is: it’s a performance/competitive team at my dance studio. Even though my knee is hurting, i’m still going to push through and try out. So that’s all that’s all that’s been happening lately, i’ll see you in my next post!
